A published expert in public affairs, Chris has worked with the personalized medicine community for nearly three years to coordinate the communication of the field's complex principles to diverse audiences. As Vice President of Public Affairs, Chris oversees the development of PMC's marketing and communications messages and leverages a comprehensive portfolio of digital and traditional communications tools to increase awareness and understanding of personalized medicine in the United States and internationally. He also oversees content development for the Annual Personalized Medicine Conference at Harvard Medical School.
In his previous role as PMC’s communications director, Chris managed the Coalition’s external communications efforts and contributed to analyses of the landscape for regulation, reimbursement and innovation in personalized medicine. Prior to joining PMC, Chris worked as a researcher at Binghamton University, where he published a peer-reviewed manuscript on social media use among nonprofit organizations.
Chris received the Binghamton University Department of Public Administration’s Alpha Student Award upon graduating summa cum laude with a master’s in public administration. He also graduated summa cum laude from the State University of New York at Brockport, where he was honored with the college’s Departmental Scholar Awards for both journalism and international studies.
